Attorney Keith Rudzik Obtains Favorable Defense Result
On April 24, 2014, in the matter of Rodriguez v. Sapia, Attorney Keith Rudzik received a defendant’s verdict from a Hartford jury in a personal injury action following a motor vehicle accident in the West Farms Mall Parking Area. The firm’s client admitted liability/responsibility for causing the accident, but adamantly denied that anyone could have been injured as a result of the minor impact. Attorney Rudzik successfully argued that the two adult plaintiffs could not prove by a preponderance of the evidence that they suffered any injuries as a result of the modest impact. Attorney Rudzik aptly demonstrated that the plaintiffs had a history of filing lawsuits, treating with a chiropractor, and being diagnosed with permanent injuries. The plaintiffs admitted prior accidents, injuries, and claims, but argued that they were injured in this accident. After a short deliberation, the jury found in favor of the defendant.
